Hey, I'm Jannis. I built Robin because I think you can get the most out of AI in everyday life, and for your life, once someone packages it up properly. You saw the showcase up top, so you already know what it can do.
Honestly, I'm so happy this thing actually exists now, and I never thought I'd end up building myself such a genuinely useful everyday AI tool. I really only made it for myself at first. But then I figured: ok lol, why not make it available to everyone as one all-in-one package. For people who have zero interest in wrestling with all the AI stuff themselves.
So here it is. I'd love to throw free months around. But sadly I'm broke, and running this plus the API costs just don't make that possible. But 5 € is totally fair, right? :) I'm still right at the very beginning here and I'm open to any feedback. And I'm happy to hand out free months for it!

Frequently asked questions
How does the long-term memory work?
Robin writes structured notes about you into a private memory folder: your profile, relationships, ongoing projects, topic archives. These flow automatically into every conversation, so Robin knows what you talked about last week.
Which AI models can I use?
You choose freely from several leading AI models. A different one can run per character, per mode, per conversation, or Robin picks automatically in Smart mode. No API key of your own needed. In EU mode, Robin runs exclusively on an AI model with servers located in the EU, so your data never leaves the EU.
Are the AI models vetted?
Yes. Every connected model goes through our own companion test with tough questions: Does it make up facts when it doesn't know something? Does it do the math reliably? Does it tell you what you want to hear, or correct you honestly? Is it warm and present rather than cold? Only models that pass make it to you, weaker ones get cut. So "Light," "Mid," and "Strong" aren't a random pick, but curated top AIs with human-like abilities.
What are "AI characters"?
Your own AI personas, each with a character sheet, a personality, and their own voice. A strict trainer, an understanding companion, a playful friend, Robin plays them consistently, each with their own history and their own memories.
Where is my data stored, and can I export it?
On a server in Germany, reachable only over a private network. Sensitive details are pseudonymized on your device beforehand. You can export anytime under "Backup & Data Export": ZIP for the archive, Markdown to read, JSON to restore. And you can delete all your data on the server anytime with one click.
Can I try Robin for free?
Yes, through the demo: no sign-up, with a free credit and real features. At the end, you can turn it into your own account if you're happy with it. When your subscription ends, you can still keep using Robin, just without the AI features. A lot keeps working as usual (calendar, diary, shopping list, routines, tracker, goals), and your data stays intact, still viewable and exportable. Only chatting with Robin pauses.
